The cost of coins is getting higher and higher. Not everyone has the amounts of coins for patterns. 200 coins is a lot----but 300 to 350 is asking too much, in my opinion. If you keep the cost of coins lower, obviously, more people could afford to buy the patterns.

I agree Bevcustom I think if you do not charge a crazy amount more people will download so more p ...
Ive been saying this for a LONG time - I think its just plain greed to ask so much. I am also an uploader (havent since my cancer diagnosis but will in the near future). Doesnt compare to what people are asking. Its quite simple - DONT BUY THEM. It doesnt matter that its not "real" coins, its simply the principle involved. I think it is the UPLOADER who wants the instant gratification of getting lots of coins but thats just my personal opinion.
While some are probably just being greedy, I think some are just trying to earn gold. I found out by uploading some patterns to share that the forum takes 30% of the sale. Some of the patterns I uploaded I put a price of 25 gold on them. I only receive 18 gold. The forum already charges 30 per download, not sure why it needs to take a percentage of each sale. Kind of forces you to put the price up on patterns to earn enough gold to pay for patterns you want.
If you also upload some patterns I think there is no problem te buy a pattern because then your coins are growing also... so I think to download a lot it would be fair to upload something too
I have given up getting upset about it.
The greed of some users is obviously insatiable, and the spiral of GC increases in pricing seems unstoppable anyway.
New users hardly have a chance to "buy".
I wont download completely overpriced patterns anyway.
However, I wont upload any myself after my post yesterday, that an overpriced pattern was free with a code, was deleted.
Has the maximum .10 GC been removed for uploading FREE patterns?
I dont see it anymore but it seems my forum privileges have changed and my posts deleted since pointing out FREE with coupon patterns
