Variegated Thread

Hello Friends.  I am soon getting a hank of silk rainbow variegated thread and Im not sure what to do with it.  Any ideas?

If it is similar to metallic thread I would use it like a filament thread to add sparkle. If it is similar to the silk used for silk ribbon embroidery I would use as such. be nice to use mixed to highlight
