Try using a different browser. Edge seems to have no problems at all. When you pay for your thread and click to download and that blank window opens up just refresh the window and it should start the download. I downloaded twice this morning with this problem and the right click refresh helped both times.

I agree Duckeyed.  I have been refreshing the download screen for a few days.

My routine to get downloads is: I click the download link, pay for the download (if there is a pop up), click the download link again, a tab opens, I close the tab, then I click the download link again which opens another tab and gives me my download.
