Skill Level: Intermediate (Requires knowledge of sc, dc and sl st in the back loop only). Pattern is
written using US crochet terminology.
Size: One size fits most. Hat brim measures approximately 17" around (stretches to over 23”) and
just under 1.75” wide. Finished hat measures approximately 9.5” long.
Gauge: 4 dc with H hook = 1”, and 2 rows of dc = 1” long. Gauge is somewhat forgiving due to the
slouchy nature of this hat.
Tools:
-Hook: Size H/8 (5mm), or size to obtain correct gauge.

-Tape measure
Materials:
-A total of approximately 210 yards worsted weight yarn. Example uses Malabrigo Worsted in Pink
Frost. For best results, use a soft, drapey yarn for this hat.
