What are some other ways I can get credits? Not golden coins

Hello! Ive been in the forum for a while now and yet I still havent been able to advance to the next level so to speak :( Even though I log in every day and comment every day. Is there anything else Im missing? Cheers! :)

This is how credits are calculated:

Posts×0.1 + Threads×0.26 + Digests×5 + Online Time (h)/1.5

You need 10 posts (replies or comments) or 4 new threads to actively gain one credit, or you need to browse for 1.5 hours (like searching, interacting, etc., its not enough to just open the page an leave it like that, in the background, overnight) for passively gain one credit. I did not mention digests, because tho they exist, they are very rare (in case you want to know more about them, this thread has some info).

Levelling up works the same way as in a game: you spend more time interacting, the higher level youll get to. You wont get to DIY9 overnight, but its pretty easy (not more than a month of being active) to get to DIY2, where you wont have real restrictions anymore (no limitations on sending PMs, getting access to the "read permission 90" content).

Hi,

I am very new here.  Since the daily bonus is been cancelled, it has become harder and harder to earn gold coins. I am doing so by commenting/replying to various threads, posting my own threads, and of course with the hourly bonuses (you will find them in the section my center, tasks).  You get something like 17 gcs per hour, provided you log in each hour (LOL).

The other way is by posting patterns and/or magazines.  But there is an issue there also.  Your pattern may be downloaded 10 times but for various reasons, you get compensated only for half of that.  Anyway.  These are the ways I have discovered as a newbie.  And I have read most of the relevant threads :)

I just realised you are looking for credits and not gold coins, though I think those two go hand in hand.  You have gold coins, you spend them by buying patters, etc. and you are credited for that.  Without the one I dont think you can earn enough of the other.  But then again, I may be wrong.

Posting is the only way to level up. For every post it goes towards your credits. Some say its 10 some say more to earn one credit. So the more you post the more you earn and the faster you level up.

Thank you, although i keep buying patterns but not being able to download them. I bought two already and cannot download these files :/
Ive also been a member since september or so and its just been very difficult to achieve this. Havent even reached level 1 yet, and Ive posted multiple times.
