Fix Color on patterns that i want to post with color and symbols

How do i fix the color on a pattern that i want to post so it shows the correct colors. I did this before and the color where not right. I fixed it but I dont remember how I did it. I know it was easy as check a box but I forgot where it is. it is not a repaint it is a pattern that I have from a designer.
