new knitter

I would like to knit something from 1 skein. is there any pattern that needs just 1 skein. {here 1 skein = 100gms}

There is a book series called "One Skein" with tons of patterns.  Interweave also has a book of really nice one skein wonders

oh wow.. thats nice. usually i cant afford more than 1 skein at a time , besides i need to feel satisfied with many finishes or else knitting bug runs away lol

Lots of projects with 1 skien depending on what you like to knit.  Baby projects, Adult: gloves, mittens, neck warmers or combine left over balls for other projects like scarves.  You didnt mention what weight the yarn is so I am assuming its worsted?
