Anyone working on a large project? I currently am working 1 over 1 on a HAED and its taking forever to make the smallest amount of progress. How do you keep going with something so large? I find that I will put it to the side and work on something small to feel like Im making progress.

I complete sections and reward myself with buying myself a present. Then go up to the next section + present. At the end of the project Im a verrrry happy person!  Post time 2021-5-18 21:31

Im working on a rather LARGE Stoney Creek. I started last August and am very nearly finished. Im working on 28 count. I love this fabric and tend to stitch on it instead of 14 count aida. For some reason I dont really like aida. I like the look of 28 count or linens.

I have used 28 lugana, but haven’t tried linen yet. Will need to add that to this! Any recommendations on linen brands that you prefer?

Linen would be a forum question. Where I live choices are limited. I typically go to 123Stitch com and tell them what Im needing and they recommend several options and I pick one or 2.  Post time 2021-5-18 22:47
Ive noticed that lugana yardage isnt what it used to be. Its not as thick and full as it used to be. And its more on the "plastic" side. So I try to stay with DMC there.  Post time 2021-5-18 22:44
