Skills:
Knitting in the round, stranded colorwork (provided as both written and charted instructions), K2tog decreases, M1L and M1R increases.
Color dominance is important in this pattern. The MC should be dominant, meaning it should be carried underneath the CC yarn on the wrong side of the work.
Yarn:
Fingering-weight yarn in 7 colors.
Sample shown in Whimzee Stitches Deluxe Sock Hi-Twist (85% superwash merino/15% nylon; 393 yards/359 m per 3.5 oz/100 g). Colorways: Pride Rainbow with White minis.
Mitt Actual Sizes:
(Choose a size 2-4”/5-10 cm smaller than your head circumference.)

• Small: 4.5”/11 cm wrist circumference, 5.5”/14 cm palm circumference, 1”/2.5 cm cuff length, 2”/5 cm thumb gusset length, 3.75”/9.5 cm palm length (including top ribbing)
• Medium: 6.25”/16 cm wrist circumference, 7.5”/19 cm palm circumference, 1.25”/3 cm cuff length, 2.75”/7 cm thumb gusset length, 4.5”/11.5 cm palm length (including top ribbing)
• Large: 7.75”/19.5 cm wrist circumference, 9.5”/24 cm palm circumference, 1.5”/4 cm cuff length, 3.5”/9 cm thumb gusset length, 5.5”/14 cm palm length (including top ribbing)

Gauge:
34 stitches and 40 rounds per 4”/10 cm with larger needles in colorwork pattern in the round, blocked.
Tools:

• 2 stitch markers
• Scrap yarn or stitch holder to hold thumb stitches
• tapestry needle for weaving in ends
  

Needles:
US 1 and 2 (2.25 and 2.75 mm) needles for knitting a small circumference in the round, or size needed to get gauge.
