It’s Fathers Day this weekend so wanted to take time to thank the one I hold dearest.

I’m just one of them “down here” that is so very grateful for your presence in my life and those that I love... even though I don’t tell You enough.
I know like many fathers, sometimes you probably have waited for calls you never got or visits that were promised and never came. I bet there have plenty of times you got blamed for things you had no part of. That it seemed us kids only came to you when we needed something, we probably never returned your tools or used them correctly and sometimes we came back back home far more broken than we had been when we set out on our journey.
I just wanted to say thank you God. For your unconditional love. The strength and hope you lend to me each and every day ... and how more times than not you have shown me you DO listen. You do hear me. Even when I don’t say a thing.
You have blessed me God. In so many more ways that I can begin to count.
