I believe its 1/4 stitch. So in 1 Aida square you need to stitch 4 cross stitches. Usually, they are in corners, but in this case, you stitch them as mini cross stitches, horizontally. I hope you understand, or someone might explain it better.

Yes, I think you got it. 4 small cross stitches in one aida block  Post time 2021-7-11 20:30
There is a tutorial on their official website, Ive sent you a link  Post time 2021-7-11 20:29
oke no problem  Post time 2021-7-11 20:23
i think i understand, you do two cross stitches in upleft en donwleft en two in uprightcorner en downright corner? so you get 4 smal cross stitches of two colours in one aida block  Post time 2021-7-11 20:22
Correction, they are not 1/4 cross stitches, Ive no idea what would they be called. Mini cross stitches? 1 forth of a square?  Post time 2021-7-11 20:22

@krakelingetje
My apologies, I had a proper look at their instructions, they dont have this particular one. But youve got it, 4 small cross stitches of two colours in one aida block.

@krakelingetje, Which Heritage design are you interested in?

Im not sure that its 1/4 cross stitches, I think its 1/2 vertical or 1/2 horizontal stitch. It is necessary to look at the original diagram. In your drawing, most likely PM.

Sorry for the typos. Just checked the xsd-file for this design, they are listed as petite stitches  Post time 2021-7-11 23:21
I dont think they are neither 1/4 og 1/2, quite certian they are petite stitches. Typical of Heritage, both the flower panels and the Clayton circle designs (which this one is)  Post time 2021-7-11 23:20

@krakelingetje If I understood correctly from my research, petite stitch is a petite point stitch, or a tent stitch, or a gobelin stitch. Its a half of a full cross stitch. Have a look:
