Pattern making

Anyone have suggestions on pattern making app or website that helps write patterns?

A friend of mine uses Stitch Fiddle and really likes it.  They have crochet, knitting and cross stitch.  I have never used it but have heard that its  good.

I have used Stitch Fiddle to plan a graphic blanket. They have a free and paid version depending on what you are looking for. It’s a great tool!
