About this design...
The little ﬂower pattern originates from Gotland in Sweden. You learn it fast, and because the model is worked circular from the button up, there are no difﬁcult purl rows at all - a very cosy colorwork project.
Front is cut up before knitting the band - if you dont like sewing on the machine, you can crocket two seams and cut up between. I prefer this method, and there are several tutorials about this in the Internet.
