Question: Where do you start your stitching?

It is very interesting to see all the variations of starting a design. I usually start in the centre and work the left top quarter first, this may be because I am a leftie.

Wiseowl, this makes alot of sense! I usually start in the centre but actually I love your idea of being able to work without handling the already stitched work. Great idea, thanks!

Top left for larger designs and center for smaller designs.

I always start in the middle and work toward the top left hand, Im left handed,  Only start at the top left corner once and have never finished that item.  I only use various sized hoops - as I found frames are to bulky to use, if I sew free hand my tension is all over the place.

I start in the middle.

I always start in the middle and find colors going up in the left upper corner. From there I do the left side first from up to down. I am lefthanded and sew just in hand. Never tested frames and hoops.
