How do I know if I have already commented on someone’s post?

Is there a way to tell if I have already commented on someones post without having to go through each and every reply? Ive tried various ways and nothing seems to be working. Counting on my memory is worthless! There are quite a variety of postings of the same chart (pdf, rar, pat, xsd, etc.) and I dont know which one Ive commented on. There has to be a way to know. Any hints or suggestions? How does everyone do this?

If you go to top left and under the "My" menu, you can see "Posts". Click it, and then select "Last replied" filter to see your posts.
But its only like the most recent 10 posts.

But its not easy to see when you are in a post if you have replied or not

Another member suggested this to me (cant take credit). We all get free points to rate people. Soooo, if Ive commented on something I rate it with a comment Ive chosen. If Ive commented and downloaded I rate it and chose a different comment - I use that same comments if I already have the item too.  I can easily see whether Ive commented or downloaded as soon as the page comes up cause the ratings list show up on the first page.  PLUS it gives the person whatever points amount you choose based on your allowable amount (something to do with your DIY level I think but not sure).
