Tips to stitch on dark fabric

Does any one have easy tips to stitch on dark fabric to share just to make stitching easy and quick...

Whenever I stitch on black fabric, I always have a sheet of white paper on my lap.
It makes a big difference. It is easier to see the holes in the fabric.
Also, I do not stitch on black at night.

many thanks everyone for replying back, I am trying to use a light under the stitching although it is helpful I have to bend a lot ...ahhh!! all that we do for stitching...

The best tip for me is using a light under the fabric,,, I know is quite hard but keep going!! Usually risults worth every effort!!! Good work

White material underneath it on your lap - or a lightbox type light underneath it.

I have not stitch black fabric yet , but it is nice to hear all tips ready, If I stitch that too someday
