its just a weird trend I see a lot, the trope of falling for ur straight best friend, or fucking up ur first relationship thru internalised homophobia, its common tropes that are way too common

its just that it looks to be a much bigger trend in queer spaces, when that happens to striahgt ppl its never their most defining relationship, or their first one

but queer ppl really make that to be their one defining characteristic in early romantic experiences, makes me wonder if its an unconscious self sabotage
