Bounty replies - cant see comments?

I posted up a bounty and ive had two replies but when i go and look at what the comments are from my messages it says "Replies visible to author only"


Can anyone explain what I did wrong or how i can see the reply content?  thanks

Yes totally understand so to be clear, no one can see any comments other than the owners of the site?

Thanks BoingBoing - thats where I was confused as it said something like only the publisher can see replies so I thought that was me who published the request but it being admins makes total sense.  :)
