Its because the thread youre trying to download is in the new thread section, so its still under moderation and havent been approved by the moderator yet. Once its approved you will be able to see and download the thread :)
You will need to wait for the moderators to approve the post. When a post is in the "post new patterns" category, you will need to wait. Usually it is finished within a few days.
