Repaint accuracy and convert to pdf

ive been looking at the repaints and wonder how accurate they are. I would think that the accuracy of the repaint would only be as good as the person doing the repaint. Is it possible to be 100 per cent sure that a repaint accurately reproduces the pattern from the original pattern. Also is there anyway to convert the repaint to pdf for use with say Pattern Keeper or Markup R XP?

Also, some of the repaints I have seen dont seem to handle extra stitches (such as back stitching , outline, satin)  Is this common? because it presents a problem with some designs

@Scotia

Have you used a repaint before? The Patternmaker program (XSD) has all stitches, including back stitch, straight stitch, quarter stitches, specialty stitches and so on.

It is difficult to judge the accuracy of the repaint unless you convert it yourself or compare it to the scanned pattern. Human errors do occur occasionally, whether in repaints or scanned patterns.
