Rota Jumper by Irene Lin - English, Japanese, Korean

Rota Jumper is worked by knitting the back first. Both fronts are picked up and knitted separately, some short rows are worked for shoulder shaping. Then front and back are joined and knitted in the round. Pick up stitches and knitting in the round for sleeves and neck ribbing.
The cropped style is designed to go well with high waisted pants or skirts. Since it’s a top-down sweater, you can make adjustments as you knit and decided to go with a longer hem.

Gauge/with 5mm needle:
16 sts and 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in Stockinette Stitch after blocking.
20 sts and 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in 2x2 Rib Stitch after blocking.

Size:
1 ( 2, 3 )( 4, 5, 6 ) Sample shown in Size 2 with 28cm/11” positive ease.

Body circumference: 106 ( 112, 122 )( 129, 136, 143 )cm/41.75 ( 44.13, 48 )( 50.75, 53.5, 56.25 )”

Yarns:
Stitch & Story, Cotton Braid, 94% Mako cotton, 6% Nylon, 125 yards/ 115 m/ 50g;
8 ( 9, 10 )( 11, 12, 13 ) balls, approximately 920 ( 1035, 1150 )( 1265, 1380, 1495 )m, the estimated yardage is for the cropped and 3/4 length sleeve version, you may need more yardage when extend the length.

Needles:
5mm / 8 US ; 4mm / 6 US ( For the ribbing)

Other Materials:
Stitch markers, cable needle, waste yarns.
