I spin my own wool

I just love spinning such a relaxing hobby and i have a farmer that gives me all his fleece and i spin it this is my little toy .

This is something I've always wanted to do.  My sister-in-law just bought property that came with two alpacas.  I'm trying to get the wool.  LOL

You are very lucky to have the chance to do this! What weight of yarn do you find the easiest to spin? I have heard that fingering weight yarn takes a lot of practice to consistently spin the fibers to be fine enough.

You are so lucky that you get free fleeces.  Fibre is getting so expensive now.  I love spinning myself.  It's so relaxing.

Your spinning wheel is very cool. I like to spin on a spindle. It's so easy to make a diy one with a crochet hook and a pompom maker disc.
