It actually depends on what you are going to do, and its also up to you. For toys the best option is the yarn for this specific work, but you can choose any made of 100% cotton which are yarns for babies and usually are hypoallergenic. Now if your work is summer clothes or crochet like Clones Lace, Bullion and Bruges so I recommend you a thinner yarn. If your work is rough tapestry than I suggest you a string for being more resistant... you see, for every work you need to think its necessity, but also how you feel about it. Some strings might give you allergy while working, so you need to look for one that doesnt, some yarn might stick on the hook which will make you take even more time... conclusion you will find the best yarn to crochet with time by crocheting. :) |
