Bounty Request Question

I have a question on Bounty Requests.

If the Bounty is easily available from the two main download sites what are the chances of it being filled for non-residents of USA?  I know its a waiting game but are a lot of the requested Bountys filled?  It seems to me that amigurumis are very popular but I would like a clothing pattern that sells for +/- $6 and those sort of patterns stick around in Bounty for a long time because clothing, beanies are not as popular.

I also know that the more coins you add the luckier you should be....maybe!  But I have see Bounties with huge amounts still waiting to be fulfilled.

Ive had a bounty of 5000 GC for a knitting pattern for years and I am in the US. Somethings I guess are just not that popular :-(

I agree!  And not many people are willing to browse the bounty area.

I browse quite often but I buy almost exclusively knitting patterns. Some people might be more inclined to upload if there were more GC especially if you were looking for a book. I dont think this way though.

I placed a bounty for a single knitting pattern for 5,000 GC several years ago and no one has responded. I think thats a pretty hefty "reward". Im very disappointed no one has the pattern.

I used to look at the requests because I find it interesting to see what others are interested in so if I see something there that like Ill be more inclined to purchase it & share. It doesnt really matter how many bounty coins, I just like knowing that Im sharing something others are interested in, plus if others are interested then it will end up bringing in more coins than the original bounty.

But Im now turned off from bounties because you wont necessarily get the bounty coins even if you do post the pattern. A friend of mine recently said its been over a year since she posted a bounty pattern & yes she did reply in the thread like youre supposed to, but it still appears as an open bounty (I know which pattern & just checked, the pattern was posted 17 months ago & has identical name as the bounty, even the same image for the pattern was used).

And I posted a bounty pattern a couple months ago & received a PM saying I need to reply in the bounty thread to get the reward (I thought I already had) but when I tried to do it again that bounty thread had been recycled so it was closed to replies. It was recycled 7 days after the pattern was posted & the PM was sent... so in my case I fulfilled the bounty, the mod must have known it was me because they sent a PM to me, the pattern has been posted, but I guess the reward just disappears because I didnt get it.

I am so sorry to hear this :-(  Could you contact @Turquoise to sort out any issues with the Bounties in question and also supply the links?

It would be such a pity for those posting Bounty requests to be missing out on rewards and also for the members requesting.  I do hope that you continue to browse the Bounty area knowing you are helping a great many people who do appreciate your efforts

First all all @anniekins Bounty section moderator anymore ...

We always suggest to bounty answerer users this way:

1. upload the pattern
2. reply to bounty post (doesnt matter what byou write in there just "thanks for sharing enough"
3. Report to section moderator from here :

Our process as a management team:

1.Section moderator check the pattern (full edition, scan quality, duplicate, color key etc...)
2. Approve the pattern and inform to bounty moderator mostly (I said mostly because sometimes bounty title can be mess ... We can not find even bounty post... Therefore we ask to bounty answerer user report to bounty moderator )
3. Bounty moderator inform to bounty owner ... If there is no answerer reply , our moderator ask to answerer user for a reply
(If bounty answerer doesnt reply in a week , moderator delete the bounty with "no response from pattern uploader" cause )

Misa925 probably doesnt reply to bounty post after bounty moderator message ....

We have active 250.000 user we can not know user will be active again ... I mean even a week very long term for answer to bounty post ...

We have rules on the each section page... but nobody read these rules after than complaint :loveliness: And we try to our best
