MATERIALS.
BASIC COCOON AND HAT WILL NEED.
200 - 200 - 250gms. aran weight yarn (U.S. worsted/afghan or AUS. 10/12 ply) in main colour. 100 -
100 - 100gms. same weight in fur yarn.
Pair of 5.00mm. knitting needles. (old no. 6\'s or U.S. no. 8). Pair of 4.00mm. knitting needles.
(old no. 8\'s or U.S. no. 4). A spare needle.
5 - 5 - 5 large buttons.
EXTRA COLOURS in same weight yarn as above.
SNOWMAN. 50gms. grey and an oddment of yellow/orange (nose). 2 small buttons for eyes.
REINDEER. 50gms. cream, a little red (nose and pompom) and a little dark brown (antlers). A little
wadding.
SANTA. A little black (belt) a little plain white (pompom).
CHRISTMAS TREE. Will need 150gms. fur not 100gms. and a little red (pompom).
FROZEN BLUE. A little white (hat stripes and pompom.)
FROZEN PINK TEDDY. A white, little darker pink (heart nose), and a little cream (ears). 2 small
buttons for eyes.
TENSION.
Using 5.00mm. needles and stocking stitch, 18sts. and 24 rows measure 10cms. (4 inches) square.
SIZES.
To fit small newborn, 0/3 and 3/6 months. Complete length (approximately) 47 - 52 - 57cms.
Width all around fastened (approximatly) 61 - 65 - 70cms.
