last year i decided to try something more intermediate work and fell over the Heritage Cable Blanket by Lisa van Klaveren.
have to say i had to learn a new way to crochet in and it is taking forever. but i still like to take it out and work on it. :)
maybe the choice of doing it in 2 threads of alpaca yarn wasn't the best idea but i just loved the idea :)

Lovely blanket ! It certainly needs time and patience but while you have a good time crocheting it, ...
had to frog about 20 rows on it :( but i don't like to have mistakes in the things i make :) now i just have to start going again. but i thing the level of the blanket is for more experienced crochet people. and that's also why i like to take on these type of patterns :)

I think you did well, I don’t like either leaving mistakes when I see them ( I have enough with the ones I only see when all is finished ! ) these 20 rows will look far better than before once they are done, have a good crocheting !
Wow it's really nice texture. I admire you for tackling such a big project, I tried to make a croched blanket once but it only ended up the size of a cushion
A lot of work indeed, the good ting is that you still want to continue working on it. Hope you can finish soon and in time for this winter...maybe :). Great work
