The name of this pattern was inspired by the beautiful yarn Cotton Merino Glam by Katia Concept, with a subtle sparkle to it. Apart from that, it is a saying that evokes hope and optimism. Hope and optimism are what we are all looking for in these trying times.
It is a seamless top-down sweater with a scalloped neckline and an intricate lace pattern on the yoke while the rest is made in simple stockinette.
The range of ease across all the sizes is 16-18 cm /6.5-7.25”. The picture shows size 3 with 18 cm/7.25” of positive ease.

• The sweater is worked in one piece top down. You start with a picot cast-on (video-tutorial provided), then work the round yoke according to the lace charts (written instructions for the lace charts are also provided).
• You can choose an option for 4.5 cm/1.75” shorter yoke by omitting specific RNDs as shown in charts.
• After the round yoke, you separate the sleeves and the body, work the neck shaping with short rows, then continue working the sleeves and the body separately.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• basics (cast on/bind off, knit/purl, increase/decrease)
• short rows
• working in the round
• working from a chart (written instructions have been provided)
