Loly Fuentes has a scarecrow as a pattern on the great R-platform (loveley scarecrow with little cute birds), but not the one pictured.
To me it looks like it was worked on Stramin in Gobelin stitch and probably sewn together.
If you look at the broom in the foreground, you can clearly see parts of the Stramin.
Someone has suggested its from a publication for seasonal items which makes sense. The photo was found on eBay complete. Another has suggested Needle Craft Shop. Search continues. Thanks for helping.
