Knitted/crocheted gifts for new moms

Hi everyone!  I have two friends who are expecting babies later this year.  What do you think I could knit or crochet as gifts for my friends, who will be new moms?  I would like to make something for my friends, in addition to things for their babies.  Thank you for your suggestions!

My friend is going to be a first time Grandmother, I made them one of the Little Cotton Rabbits bunny with a matching blanket for the new baby.

When my sister became a new mom, I made her a nursing shawl. I love that she really used it and it got a little dirty.

Blankets have always been a hit. C2Cs work up super easily, especially if you use Bernat Blanket yarn and an L hook.
