Hola,
Cómo organizas tus hilos ?
Los embobinas, los pones en organizadores ?

Hello,

How do you organize your threads?

Do you wind them up, and put them in organizers ?

Personally I use stitch bows and folder inserts. For any blends, I use floss drops.

Im sorry, marked? I find that stitch bows have far less handling than winding on bobbins, and so are less likely to get dirty. Bobbins make the thread have a kink which I dislike.

If you mean "how do you label the thread as being a symbol on the pattern": I dont. I look up the symbol and thread number each time. I end up half-remembering them by the time a project finishes, but I dont think theres a way to search for threads by symbol, whereas if theyre numbered, you can just store them in ascending order.

I like to use Floss A Ways to store my threads and then I pull the ones I need for a project.  No winding and I can store a thread in the plastic bag after using that color.  Plastic Bags can be marked with the color number.

I have not tried this technique, I am going to look for the bags in my country because there are specific ones for threads, although in the end it can be any small plastic bag, right?  Details Reply Post time 2023-5-5 13:05
