this summer I decided to work on a new hat project and picked this one to do the twisted kraken octopus hat by The Twisted Hatter, it looks hard but once I got started it went fast, there are 3 hooks youll need for the hat a k,I,G hook and the pattern calls for a # 4 worsted weight yarn(# 4 wwy)I used Caron One pound yarn for the hat & suckers (if you use a lighter weight yarn for suckers it will not work or look right) so try to use a # 4 wwy your choice of color. The hat took me 4-5 days to finished, I had so much fun making these for family & friends
