How to upload e-books ?

are there already instructions on how to post e-books?
step by step ...........
how big should the files be? (MB) and the price?

Uploading an ebook in the ebook forum is similiar to uploading a pattern or a chart on PinDIY. There are only minor differences due to information about your book (such as choosing the genre, adding a synopsis etc).
Your book cannot exceed 10MB in size (so its quite restrictive because you cant upload winrar or zip files in this section as yet). The price is up to the individual uploader so far, though this may change  in the future.

Here are the steps you need to do:-

1) go to the ebook forum and click on the NEW button on the upper left hand side of your page:


2) the new window is where you add all of your information, upload your book cover image and book and give all the necessary details.


Click on No. 1  to open the drop down menu and select the genre that best describes the ebook you are uploading. It should look like this:


In the window labelled 2 (above) add the Title of the Book - The Author - Language [as advised by our Admin in this thread /thread-589403-1-1.html]
Click on Image (Arrow 3) to open the small image upload window and then click on "choose file" to find the image in your computer that is your book cover -click on upload to add it to the attached images folder (on this site).

Once that is done, Click on the image to place it in your viewing window. Add any text you wish under the image such as a brief synopsis, info about the author, reviews of the book etc.
Finally, Click on the Attach paperclip icon (Arrow 4) to open the General Upload window, and then select "choose file" button to locate the ebook file on your computer, click on upload to add your book to the site,

Once uploaded, the window will display your file(s). Leave the read permissions to unlimited but in the gold coin column add a number for however much you wish. As you will notice, the charge for download varies
amongst the different books but you cant exceed 99999 gold coins.

Thats it. Just click the Save button at the bottom left-hand corner and you have created a new thread.
