Before wash: 24 sts & 42 rows in Groove pattern with needle size US 4 (3.5 mm) = 4” (10 cm).
After wash and blocking: 24 sts & 36 rows = 4” (10 cm).

About the design…  GROOVE-tee is a classic raglan model, worked top down.  First knit back and forth in rib until the neckline is shaped. Then knit in the round in rib, which is later replaced by a groove pattern. When the raglan is finished, divide into body and sleeves. The body is worked in groove pattern. The model have a slight A-shape, ending with a wide ribbing with slits. The sleeves are worked in the round in groove pattern and finally stitches are picked up for the neckband.
