No permission?

There have been a couple of patterns that I wanted to get but it says "Your user group does not have permission to access attachments."  What does that even mean?  Do I have to have so many credits?

If the threads youre looking at are not in the Post new Patterns & Magazine or Recycled or Recycled-Checked areas (nobody can access these due to the threads there being unmoderated or having issues), then please copy their link to the Report of Informal Posts Replies stickied thread. In the past, there was an option to set the reading permission for attachments when creating the thread, so certain things were only available for DYI1 and up or DIY2 and up. Its not permitted now due to changes in the system, and the team is working on correcting the old threads with read permissions. There is no capacity to go over all the threads, so the incoming reports are the way to fix the issue.

But where do we report on the thread?  I see "report" on the replies but not the thread itself.

Sorry, Im a bit confused. Are you trying to post a thread or a reply? Just go to https://www.pindiy.com//forum.ph ... posttime=1697952534, scroll to the bottom, write the reason why youre reporting the thread, copy the threads link starting from pindiy.com (something like: "High read permission pindiy.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=596252" - its the link to this thread, just change it with the one you found). There shouldnt be a problem posting, as it is not restricted in any way, other than the system might want to bounce full links back.

Ive been doing this and they fix the link.  Its pretty awesome.
