How to make Brioche Cable Left Cross
Slip 6 sts to cable needle and hold to front, (SL1, Yo, K2tog) 2 times, slip sts from cable needle back to left needle, (SL1, Yo, K2tog) 2 times.
(This sounds complicated at first, but it’s not hard once you get the hang of it)
Pattern
Cast on a multiple of 16 sts, plus 2.
Set-up row: K1, *SL1, Yo, K1; rep from * to last stitch, k1.
Rows 1-10: K1, *SL1, Yo, K2tog; rep from * to last stitch, k1.
Row 11: K1, *Brioche Cable Left Cross, (SL1, Yo, K2tog) 4 times; rep from * to last st, K1.
Rows 12-22: work as for rows 1-10.
Row 23: K1, *(SL1, Yo, K2tog) 4 times, Brioche Cable Left Cross; rep from * to last st, K1.
Rep Rows 1 - 23.
