Jurata is a top-down shawl with asymmetrical short row shaping. The lively patterned Japanese style lace border with eyelet/picot edging is knitted on after the body has been finished. It is best showcased in a solid color. The body of the shawl features cheerful star stitch bands that look equally well in a solid, multicolor or long color repeat contrasting color.

It is a really nice shawl, actually I would block it more aggressively so as to have the edges in line and a more regular final crescent shape
