Suggestion: Limited Time Freebie Codes Sorted by craft

I love the Limited Time Freebie Codes thread, but it isnt easy to sort through all the posts when Im specifically looking for free sewing patterns. Most of the codes are for knitting or crochet patterns listed on Ravelry. The majority of people who share codes dont even clarify which kind of pattern it is.

I suggest a different thread for free patterns specific to each craft. Has anyone else run into this issue?

i think youre looking at it the wrong way, this is a knitting and crochet community, and just because you want sewing patterns doesnt mean the majority here do

Not sure what you mean here. If you are referring to the free downloads, that is not at all what I asked about.

I thought about it, but I wondered if it would be successful without being pinned like the catch-all thread. I will start it next time I see a free sewing pattern code. :D

Anyone can post freebie codes in the Limited time freebie thread. It is not just for moderators to post codes there. The next time you find a freebie code, share it in that thread. You can always state what type of craft that your code is for. Just follow the rules of the Limited time freebie thread as stated in the first post.
