Which is easier? Knit or crochet?

I am only able to knit. For some reason the wild crochet hook flying around makes me think that it is much harder than knitting. Any input?

i would say the opposite. Knitting for me was much more difficult. Especially the tension was harder to keep.

I can do both. I would say they can both be difficult in their own ways and dont think one of the other is easier per say. I think knitting errors are harder to fix and more stressful trying to make sure all the stitches are on the needles vs crochet you can rip back fast and just redo. of course its all in how you fix the error regarding this. crochet has been much quicker for me

It seems like crocheting would be harder on the wrists? I noticed when I knit, I can move my whole arm.

I never learned to knit. My mom tried and couldn’t get it. I enjoy the look of crochet and the uniqueness

Having done both, my opinion is that knitting is probably more fiddly because the projects you do (more clothing than toys/blankets) are much more reliant on knitting to a VERY specific tension/gauge/size? I dont know that that translates to harder. Needs more attention to detail, maybe. Ultimately, it probably depends on your project!! :)
