How to get credits?

So far the only way I'm getting credits is by posting threads but supposedly there are other ways. I'm also trying to figure out what a Digest is, how to get credits by spending time on the website, and why I can't write a blog post. Any help is more than welcomed

This baffles me too! I’ve been a member here for years, I don’t visit every day just when I remember or want something new and only just got to 200 credits (should be DIY 3 but it’s not clocked over) yet I saw someone the other day been here a few months and already on DIY 12 level.
It seems commenting on posts helps, ten for a credit I think, but all that does is make the posts super long!

I don't know what this is all about. Is it about finding patterns? Coins? Confusing.

Uploading patterns will really boost your coins/points. Also commenting and making posts. Check out groups and find like minded folks to chat with.
