What project are you doing next?

Im thinking of crocheting more clothes, previously ive mostly done amigurumi keychains but i think crocheting a shrug is so cute!! i would love to make more crochet clothes, any suggestions on what i should make?

There are so many things you can make with crochet. Cardigans, shirts, skirts, shawls, socks. If you can think of it you can make it!

For my next project Im planning on doing something new to challenge me.  Im going to knit a colourwork cardigan with a steek. Eeek! The thought of cutting my knitting is facinating and scarry at the same time.  A summer tee would be nice to crochet.  I dont crochet (I can sing the tune, but its just too hard on my hands), but some of the patterns Ive seen here are really nice.

Something Ive been wanting to do for a while is to make a hexagon cardigan as its just a simple granny stitch all around. If you dont think thats your style theres also the Hexi Hoodie by SJ Creations that Ive also contemplated making. Either of these would be a good first crochet clothing item in my opinion but if you want something more challenging theres the Señorita top by Lola Crochets that looks like a really nice staple piece for your wardrobe. Theres also the Syndra Top by Mgypsy that was really popular for a while and I think its super cute but I dont think I could make it since its so cropped but it might be up your alley. Personally, Ive also been eyeing the Duchess Top/Dress by Crafters Muse because its so pretty so you might want to do that when youve got more experience crocheting clothes or if youre feeling determined you could go for it.

If nothing else you can always look up "Top", "Shorts", "Skirt", "Sweater", or like you said, "Shrug", then go to the Advanced option right above the search button and scroll down until you see Crochet Section and click it. You could find the Order By section, click it, and then click on Views or Replies instead of Last Posted to see the more popular patterns. Click the smaller search button at the bottom and now youll only get crochet results and you can browse freely for anything you like.

Ive been working on blankets mostly past few months, but now I feel like making a seashell basket just to switch things up for a bit :) Also really want to make more amigurumi toys for my niece, just researching what shed like without giving her any hints, want it to be a surprise :)

A crocheted shrug sound great!  Did you decide on one and start it?  You may have even finished it already.  I love making amigurumi although I am working on a mandala blanket.  Happy Crocheting!
