Digest, what is it?

Our Digests can be found under our avatar...
along with our posts, threads and credits.

We already knew that the word “Digest” comes from what happens after eating food…
But this is something else entirely. (wink!)
Digest also means...

To organize into a systematic arrangement, usually by summarizing or classifying.
To arrange or classify systematically...

And in our forum... What will be classified so that it becomes a digest?

The most popular graphic/book/magazine,
very rare graphic/book/magazine
excellent scan, excellent repaint

Yes, the administrator chooses these good posts and rewards them, so theres really nothing specific you can do to add a digest...
Its just that these posts are outstanding on their own!

Each publication of yours that is considered a digest receives special recognition from the Administrator for having published
a highly sought-after article, magazine, book or graphic; for being outstanding, that is.

Its an acknowledgment from the Pindiy admin for being the "most loved design" at the time. These are usually posts that have
a lot of comments and downloads, or have been in the "Daily/Weekly Hot" list on the home page for a few days.

You can see them, as a thread gets a red stamp that says "good", and if it is yours... you get 5 credits.

Thats the explanation for (Digests×5) on our Settings pages (PinDIY.com›Settings›Points›My Credits)
= You need a thread classified as Digest to get 5 credits!

You will also receive an additional 50 gold coins bonus for this.
Pindiy gives +50 gold coins per digest.

Likewise, your digest is classified as Stick Time Limited for the same reason ("Most Loved Design"). That means your thread is stuck on the main page for a period of time.

And of course, staying stuck gives you more chances to earn more gold coins.

Can you see the digests of other members? Of course you can!
You can access all of the summaries by going to Advanced Search and checking Digest.
You can leave the search fields blank and choose which forum to search.
