Trouble with Tasks

First I couldnt view any of the threads I used to be able to because it suddenly says I have to be DIY2 to see them now. Someone suggested I use Tasks to help level up, but the first task is validate your email. I asked for the confirmation email. After a few hours and 6 resend requests, I still havent gotten a single email. So now I cant view any of the crochet threads and I cant do any Tasks. Whats going on?!
