It’s Saturday- weekend! The sun is out (kind of) and it’s time to check in on everyone. How many spoons have you left? Are you doing ok? Do you need a chat? Remember, you are never alone, sometimes complete strangers are your best friend you’ve not met yet. Be kind to yourself, keep a spoon just for you (it’s not selfish it’s self care)… happy weekend everyone. And, if you are in crisis. Please reach out to relevant helplines or trusted people around you, if you may hurt yourself, call the emergency services. Take care everyone

I had been struggling with my depression.  The doctor started me on a 2nd antidepressant.  I was feeling better, but a month ago I had a serious fall.  I shattered my kneecap and had surgery.  Im in a locking brace from ankle to upper thigh.  I have to use a walker.  It gets me down that Im almost immobile and need help with everything.  My husband is great but it feels like hes getting tired of doing everything and helping me.

I am so sorry you are struggling. I fell in March and my knee still isn’t right, so I can only imagine your pain and discomfort. If there is anything I can do, reach out.  Post time 2024-5-9 06:43

Is it really already Sunday again? Weeks seem to fly by. I hope you’re all doing great. I’ve been dealing with some stuff regarding mother, her dementia seems to be getting worse and she’s had two falls, so we may have to consider a carehome soon. That all weighs on me heavily, we never thought she would become dependent to such a degree and all plans we discussed and preferences she told me about for years and years sadly won’t work now. All I can do is take it one day at a time, and I am not very good at that, I’m the „I have a spreadsheet for that“ kind of planner, but with dementia, you cannot plan…
