GETTING STARTED
Before you begin, you’ll need to plan the size and configuration of your blanket. This pattern can easily be made into many different sizes from throws to king sized and even pillow sized. (To figure out the chain count for your blanket see page 21) The orange blanket example has 3 Frame and Damask charts across, which is a great size for a throw blanket.
This pattern includes 6 different Frame Charts- Cat, Ghost, Pumpkin, Raven, Skull and Witch, and all can be mixed and matched in rows, diagonally or even randomly on your blanket. These frame designs alternate between the Damask Chart in order to create a continuous wall-paper style design. I highly recommend you decide which frame charts you plan on using and jot down their configuration before you begin crocheting your blanket. You can also use colored stitch markers to keep track of different frame charts on your blanket. (See page 4 for other blanket examples)
