I recently found out about PinDIY and thought I would come and check it out.
I do have one worry/question and thats, is it safe? Any tips on anything to watch out for would be greatly appreciated as Im not the most tech savvy person hahah. Should I avoid using this site on my mobile device and stick to my computer only?

The site is fine, but you should definetely install an antivirus and an adblocker if you havent already. I find the site is easier to navigate on the computer, especially if you want to share or download files, but to each their own :) happy browsing!
