Need help with Baby Louis!

Hi Guys! This is my second attempt at Baby Louis by

Cleoschrochetart. He looks awful and creepy. I dont know how to make him look like a normal baby doll. Help!

with hair, eyelashes, eyebrows and a little blush on the cheeks makes a big difference. At least in my opinion. Otherwise I dont know how to help you

Personally I wouldnt use such a deep red colour for the lips. Maybe you shoud make  the eyes with white. The fingers on the legs are probably too long. You need to put  some filling in to see the difference in the shaping process.
I checked the original and also the original is not cute at all. More on the creepy side too.

Maybe its the yarn are you using what she used? Maybe cotton would be better, since its not so stretchy
