It depends on the sizeof the amaigurumi.. yesterday I made two but they were little. Im working on a Santa Claus which seems to be bigger than expected and I am on it since August 29...
There is no average, it depends on how much time you have to spend on your hobby. I work fultime, and at the moment Im making nothing at all.
but there are times when its a little bit more queit I can make 3 items. Also depends on difficulty, size etc.
How much time others finish plushies doesn’t matter at all, you don’t know how much time they have and they may publish various photos at once for convenience although they began the first project a long time ago, so you dont really know. It is far better to take your time and enjoy the process and aim for the best result you can reach for your level with the time you have. You are the one to be pleased with the result and plushies wont show how mucht time you took to make them but how much care you took to make them. Enjouy your crocheting and have a good day !
Remember to have fun first! It is not a race. Be proud of your creations, no matter what speed.
Sometimes you wont have time, then other times, youll spend nights obsessing over a new pattern ;)
I think the most important thing is to have fun, it doesnt matter how many plushies you crochet. Me personally I get excited when start a new project so I tend to be really fast and spend all my time at first but then I usually slow down and take some rest while crocheting. Those rests can also be like a day or two lol after this I usually crochet at a normal speed, some hours per day until my project is finished
