Stitch of Nature - Jenia Dougherty - Vancouver Scarf/Infinity Scarf

Pattern for a beautiful Vancouver Scarf. It features a rich textured stitch pattern and the edge decorated with pom-poms.
The pattern also provides the instructions to how to make it an infinity scarf!Either way the result will be soft and wonderful to wrap into.
This pattern is written in English using US crochet terms and includes photos for visual aid.
Scarf length x width
2-5 years - 47” x 7”
6-12 years - 57” x 8 ¼ “
teen - adult - 67” x 9 ½”
Infinity scarf length x width
2-5 years - 44” x 7”
6-12 years - 54” x 8 ¼ “
teen - adult - 64” x 9 ½”
Materials you will need:
Worsted weight yarn medium size 4
Hook H/8-5.00 mm
Yarn needle for attaching pom-poms
Pom-pom maker size 2 ½” (65 mm) (or cardstock paper to make pom-poms)
Gauge:
2 pattern repetitions (12 sts) x 4 rows (2nd to 5th) = 3” x 3” (7.5 x 7.5 cm)
Skills you will need:
chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, work in rows, increasing.
