Cozy knitters!

Hello friends,

I am new here! I recently picked up knitting (and crocheting), and have been addicted since. Its so cathartic to just mindlessly knit while listening to knitting podcasts or audio books. Im definitely still a novice knitter but would love to take on larger projects and be part of any knit alongs! I am on Raverly but find that my area has little active groups (if at all), so hoping to find a community here of cozy knitters <3

Hello and welcome! :) I saw a couple of creators on instagram programming knit alongs for Christmas decorations and sweaters, maybe that works for you? Unfortunately, I think that here most are enjoying the library of patterns more than creating a community around a craft :) I hope you find your fellow knitters :)

At the moment, amigurumi, though I have also made a baby sweater for my niece :)

I learned to knit first but mostly crochet now. Its really helped me when Im feeling stressed or anxious and allows me to feel productive :)
