Hawthorne is a light summer tank top with a high neckline, delicate straps and a lace and cable pattern running down the front and back. Knitted from the top down, fronts and backs are first worked separately flat, then joined to work in the round. The top is finished with a simple ribbed hem and i-cord straps. The Hawthorne tank is best suited for fingering weight cotton or linen blend yarns with good stitch definition. I recommend choosing a solid color for the lace to show to its best effect. SIZES
This pattern is size inclusive to fit through a 66” chest. Measurements given are for the finished garment. This tank is designed to fit with zero or up to 4” of negative ease at the chest.
